Common Questions
San Diego Hull Cleaning FAQ
How often should a boat hull be cleaned in San Diego?
Most recurring clients are serviced about every three weeks during warmer, higher-growth months and about every four weeks during cooler months. Paint condition, marina location and vessel use can change the ideal schedule.
What is included with a scheduled hull cleaning?
The hull and accessible underwater components are cleaned, protective anodes are checked, visible conditions are inspected, and the owner receives underwater photos with a written service report.
How much does anode replacement cost?
Anode replacement labor is $15 per anode, plus the cost of the replacement part.
Do you service boats over 50 feet?
Yes. Vessels over 50 feet are quoted privately based on length, hull condition, underwater configuration and growth level.
Do you provide underwater photos?
Yes. Scheduled service includes underwater photos and a written condition report so you can see what was cleaned and understand the condition of your boat below the waterline.
